What is Tae-Bo?

Tae-Bo, a unique and challenging fitness system, is a martial arts/aerobics hybrid created by Billy Blanks in 1975. Tae-Bo combines Tae Kwon Do, boxing and dance disciplines and puts them together in a challenging program set to hip-hop music. A typical one-hour class consists of a series of jabs, punches, kicks and steps, choreographed in a series of eight-count combinations.

The name, Tae-Bo, is a combination of other words. "Tae" means "leg" and it relates to the kicks and lower body part of the workout. "Bo" comes from boxing and the upper body punches that are an integral part of the workout. Set to the upbeat music, Tae-Bo can be a very satisfying workout because it engages the entire body.

 

Who can participate?

Tae-Bo is for anyone who wants a complete workout. But more than just exercise calorie and fat-burning exercise Tae-Bo offers a workout for the entire body.

Many women are attracted to the program as a form of strength building. Since Tae-Bo is set to music, it's a lot of fun. You build strength while enjoying yourself.

In addition, while Tae-Bo shouldn't be considered a self-defense course, you can learn defensive moves through it because the program uses imaginary opponents as targets.

 

How soon can you see results?

According to research, some people report feeling a change in their body the very first time they do Tae-Bo and they begin to see results in as little as three Tae-Bo sessions. Others report change over several weeks. Everybody is a little different and individual results vary.

 

 

Que es Tae -Bo?

Tae-Bo, un sistema unico y desafiante de aptitud, es un sistema combinado de aerobics y  artes marciales creado por Billy Blanks en 1975.  Tae-Bo combina Tae Kwon Do, boxeo y deciplinas de baile programados a musica pop.  La case tipica consiste de una hora de series de golpes, patadas y pasos, coreografias en series de combinaciones de 8 tiempos.

El nombre, Tae-Bo, es la combinacion de otras palabras.  "Tae" significa "pierna" y se relaciona a las patadas y el ejercicio de la parte baja del cuerpo.  "Bo" surge de boxeo y de los golpes dados usando la parte superior del cuerpo durante los  ejercicios.  Establecido a la musica de alto ritmo, Tae-Bo puede ser muy satisfactorio porque involucra el cuerpo entero.

 

Quien puede participar?

Tae-Bo es para quien busque un entrenamiento completo.  Pero mas que un ejercicio, quemador de grasa y calorias, Tae-Bo ofrece un entrenamiento para el cuerpo entero.  Muchas mujeres son atraidas al programa como forma de construccion de la fuerza.  Ya que Tae-Bo esta establecido a la musica, es muy divertido.  Contruye fuerza mientras se complace.

Ademas, mientras Tae-Bo no debe ser considerado como curso de defensa propia, usted puede aprender teqnicas defensivas atraves de porque el programa usas oponentes imaginarios como blancos.

 

Que tan pronto puede ver resultados?

De accuerdo a investigacion, varia gente a reportado sentir un cambio en su cuerpo la primera vez que participan en este ejercicio y comienzan a ver resultados en tan pronto como tres sesiones de Tae-Bo.  Otros han reportado cambio en solo semanas.  Todos somos diferentes y cambio individual varea.
